Last book report due May 24
All projects must some how
include the
important elements:
Make
a poster size ad for your book, include the important elements: title,
author, main characters, setting, time period, and problem in the story.
Create a
book jacket for the story complete with illustrations and blurbs.
Write a
diary of one of the characters in the story using the first person.
Select parts from the beginning, middle, and end of the book.
Write a
letter to the author telling why you like the book, your favorite parts,
and any suggestions for future books.|
Write a
review of the book for the Philadelphia Inquirer book section.
Include what you liked and disliked about the story.
Make a
diorama to show a favorite scene from the story. Include written
information on an index card to explain the important elements: title,
author, main characters, setting, time period, and problem in the story.
Write a
song or poem to present based on a favorite part of the story.
Paint a
mural to show the key incidents in the story. Include a caption.
Rewrite the
story for students in a lower grade. Illustrate the project so it will
be interesting.
Write a
letter to Mrs. Manno, the librarian, about why she should recommend the
book to other students. Include the important elements: title, author,
main characters, setting, time period, and problem in the story.
