Dear Parents,
Welcome to a new week in Pre-K3! Our
theme is Welcome to School and our theme for the week is "Our
Happy Classroom". Our "Star Student of the Week" is Michael! Some
stories we will be reading this week are The Great Shape Hunt,
The Little Red Hen, and The Big-Mouthed Frog. Our
songs we will be singing are "Mary Had a Little Lamb", Bingo, and
"If You're Happy and You know It". In math, we will discuss 3-D
shapes. We will continue focusing on the first letter of our name.
In centers, we will make fall leaves and another fall scene picture.
Our religion theme is "My Teacher Welcomes Me". If
you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
A little tip - Have your child practice
cutting with scissors at home. This is a great fine motor
skill for them to develop! They love to just snip the paper
into small pieces! Please read to your child/children each
night. What's Happening:
Monday - Music
Tuesday - Library
Wednesday - In-service day for teachers;
no school for students
Wednesday, October 5 - Walk-a-thon; more
details to come
