Dear Parents,

Wow!  Welcome to June and a new week at school!  We have a busy week planned.  We will finish our theme, Ready for School and focus on summer!  Some stories we will be reading this week are Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Froggy Learns to Swim, and The Ugly Duckling.  We will sing our theme song and practice singing our songs for our closing program.  We will introduce the letter Kk, our last letter; help your child look for this letter and things that start with this letter at home or while out and about.  We have finished our religion series for the year.  In centers, we will color our self portraits and make something special for Dad.  We are looking forward to a great week! 

A little tip - Have your child practice cutting with scissors at home.  This is a great fine motor skill for them to develop!  They love to just snip the paper into small pieces!
