The Release of the Butterflies!
Thank You to Mrs. Rinelli and her class for letting their butterflies free in our garden.
Garden Party - Friday, June 4th 12:15 -2:30
Closing program - Thursday, June 10th 9:30 -This will last approx. 20 minutes and dismissal will be immediately following.
The Weeks of June 1st and 7th
As the remaining days are in the single digits we will learn to be flexible yet focused! Our normal routine is out the window as we no longer have our afternoon rest and we need to practice for our closing when the rec center is available.
We will continue to read a book(s) each day. The children are welcome to bring in their favorite for me o read to the class.
We have completed the alphabet! We will spend the remaining weeks review in class. Please continue to review with your child all the letters of the alphabet. They should know how to write and recognize both the upper and lower case letters as well as correctly identify and produce their sounds.
Please practice and review our sight words: ten, the on, be, of, are, is, nine, in, out, was, they, eight, it, boy, seven, she, what, six, he, love, at, and, to, purple, five, you, four, yellow, me, dog, three, green, the, cat, God, Jesus, two, blue, yes, no, stop, go, mom, dad, one, red-Make flash cards at home and practice with your child!
