THE CHRISTMAS PLAY
ENJOYING COOKIES AT THE SANTA SHOP OUR FIRST SNOWY DAY
WEEK OF JANUARY 5th
Happy New Year! We are beginning a new theme this week - Animals Everywhere. This week we will learn about pets. We will read stories about pets and the experiences the pet owners have had with them. Our letter of the week is "Ff". Please send in any pictures of your pets. The children can introduce their pets to the class. If you do not have any pets, please have your child send in a picture of an animal that they would like to have as a pet. The children can bring in a small Christmas present for show and tell this week. They were very excited to share with the class what Santa brought for them. Thank you for submitting the field trip paperwork and money so promptly. I do appreciate it. If you would like to attend/chaperone the field trip, please send in your $20 by Thursday, the 8th. In math we will be talking about things that are alike and things that are different. We will also sort and graph different animals. We will make our January self-portraits and make lions.
