What a beautiful group!
Week of June 7th It is hard to believe this is our last week of preschool. Thank you to everyone who donated items for our garden party. It was a wonderful way to close out the year. I would also like to thank you once again for all of your help throughout the year. You helped to make this year such a wonderful experience for myself, Mr. Smith and the children. We have enjoyed our days with your children. Thank you for sharing them with us. It was wonderful to watch them grow and learn throughout the year. Enjoy your summer! This week we will review our letters and the sounds they make. In our journals we will draw pictures of something your child has learned at school this year. We will practice our addresses and telephone numbers and our end of year poem. It will help if you reinforce this at home. We will visit our kindergarten classroom! Tuesday is library, Wednesday is gym class and an early dismissal. Thursday is our closing ceremony. Our closing ceremony will last about thirty minutes. Dismissal will be following the ceremony. We continue to practice the Sign of the Cross, the Our Father, the Hail Mary, the Pledge of Allegiance and Grace Before Meals. We are also learning the months of the year and the days of the week and the Star Spangled Banner. We continue to work with alphabet flashcards, rhyming words and beginning sounds.
