Announcement of our New Principal
Carl Jankowski

I am pleased to announce that Carl Patrick Jankowski has been named the next Principal of Saint Helena School effective July 1, 2018. Mr. Jankowski holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree from the Catholic University of America in Cello Performance and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Trinity Washington University.

Mr. Jankowski began his educational career as a music teacher at St. Matthias the Apostle Schoolin Lanham, MD. He was Vice Principal at Holy Redeemer School in College Park, MD, from 2007-2012. After completing a year of service as Principal of St. Joseph’s Regional Catholic School in Beltsville, MD, Mr. Jankowski moved to his current position as Principal of Our Lady of Perpetual Help School in Maple Shade, NJ, in 2013.

In his own words, Mr. Jankowski describes his educational philosophy as one which develops “life-long learners.” He is “dedicated to leading a school community that is deeply rooted in Gospel values.” Mr. Jankowski identifies the qualities of service in stating, “I am called, as a vocation, to serve my community, as I serve my family, with a father’s compassion, guidance, humor, strength, mercy, and understanding of the needs of the individual child.” Mr. Jankowski is married and the father of five children.
