Curriculum Updates:
This week, children will learn about insects that hop or jump, including grasshoppers, crickets, fleas, katydids, springtails, leafhoppers, froghoppers and some beetles. They will learn how these insects hop and jump, which ones are pests, and which one works day and night.

Information to Note:
“Tiger Time” begins at 8:00am. This is the earliest that you can drop your child off at the Pre-K classroom. The cost is $10.00 per day. There is no charge if the child will be attending CARES or Early Birds that day. You can use Tiger Time on an “as needed” basis. No need to sign up ahead of time.
Weather permitting, we will go outside every day! Please dress your child according to the day’s weather.

Hot Lunch Program:
Please send lunch money inside an envelope with your child’s name on it (labeled with what option they would like) and place it in your child’s folder.
Lunch can only be paid for ONE DAY at a time.
Please pay for only the student in MY class, not for students in other teachers classes. This helps ensures that all the children get lunch!
DO NOT put money in your child’s backpack. We do not check the backpacks for lunch money and would like to ensure your child has ordered the lunch in time if need be!
