Welcome! I am so grateful you have decided to send your child to Saint Helena School. I am looking forward to working with all of you and meeting and tending to the needs of our children. They are, in fact, the heart of Saint Helena.
At Saint Helena School, we are rooted in the legacy of Catherine McAuley, the Founder of the Sisters of Mercy. Together, we strive to make Saint Helena School a family who considers each person a valued member who will continue to spread the spirit of Mercy. In Mercy, we value the dignity of each person, create a spirit of hospitality, and pursue integrity of word and deed in our lives.
Saint Helena School provides our children with an excellent, Christ-centered education. We strive to educate the whole child so the children grow spiritually, academically, artistically, emotionally, and socially in a loving and learning environment. The faculty and I are truly dedicated to our children. We are known for affirming our children for where they are now and recognizing their individual achievements. This is what makes our children successful.
St. Helena School has high academic standards. The entire faculty is degreed, certified and involved in the on-going certification process (Act 48) currently mandated by the State of Pennsylvania. We are fully accredited by the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary Schools.
Historically, our graduating classes earn over $600,000.00 in high school scholarships. We are very proud of the accomplishments of each and every student.
