Monday, April 22

1. Religion- Please study the Children’s Suscipe.  Read facts 84-85
2. Handwriting- H copybook- Write 3 sentences from your reading words: Grow, Plants, Grow!: Week 2. Underline the word that you used.
3. Math- Lesson 15.1 p. 165-166
4. Reading– study the words under Grow, Plants, Grow!: Week 2. The sight words are listed below on this page.  You will click on a Google link to access them. It is a good idea to make flash cards for these words.
5. T-Folders: Test Folders were due today signed and returned. If it is not returned, please bring it in tomorrow! Thank you!
6. Classroom Book Orders: If you would like to purchase a class book, please fill out the form I sent home last week. If you decide to purchase it online, please fill it the access code spot under Section 2: Choose Your Method of Payment. If you would not like to purchase a book, please check off the gray box at the bottom that says “I am not interested at this time. Please return your form regardless of your decision by Thursday, April 25th.

Tuesday, April 23

2. Spelling- H copybook-write the spelling words 2x each. From now, we will have 10 spelling words! (her, fern, girl, sir, stir, bird, fur, hurt, turn, third).
3. Math- Lesson 15.2 p. 167-168

Reading- Read and Respond Packet in H-Folder.  This week’s story is called When Tom Grows Up.  Please read the story with your child and verbally discuss the Read and Respond questions on each page. Those answers do not need to be written.  On pg. 183, please have your child answer the questions using pencil.
3. Math- Lesson 15.3 p. 169-170

7. Dress Down Day: It is a dress down day on Monday, April 29 for Travis Manion. On Monday, please dress down in red, white, and blue.

In addition to your child’s written homework, please read to your child and/or have your child read to you for at least 20 minutes each night.

**Please remind your child to empty his/her completed and corrected papers from the H folder each night.

High Frequency Words
