Reminders for the week:

Homework: No more Homework for the rest of the year! Happy ALMOST summer 🙂 Below are important dates and information for the rest of the school year.

1. Wednesday, June 5: I will be sending test folders home for the last time. Please sign and return the tests by Friday, June 7.
2. Thursday, June 6: PreK (9:30) and Kindergarten (10:30) Celebrations. Any children that have siblings that are taking part in either of these may attend. I will send the children down to the gym to meet you five minutes before.
3. Friday, June 7: John Shapiro Dress Down Day. Please bring a donation and come in your favorite superhero outfit or John Shapiro Race Shirt.
4. Friday, June 7: Noon dismissal. Last Day of CARES. Springfield bus only provided.
5. Monday, June 10: Field Day, Wear your green Field Day Shirts!
6. Tuesday, June 11: End of the Year Party!
7. Wednesday, June 12: No school for students
8. Thursday, June 13: Last day of school. The whole school will have a 9:00 am liturgy.  Noon dismissal with no bus transportation.

High Frequency Words
Click here or the link below to access each week’s high frequency words.  It is a good idea to make flash cards of these words.  The children will see these words on their tests.  Recognizing words by sight helps kids become faster, more fluent readers.
