On Tuesday, 3/19/24, Mrs. Owsiany took eleven 8th grade Honors Math students to PJP High School for a Math Competition. Six schools attended with each school having two teams. Our SHS mathletes were outstanding – one of our teams came in first place and the other team came in third place! We were very excited to bring home the trophy and many medals! In addition to both of our teams winning, awards were given out for individual high scorers. Thomas B. and Jessica L. had perfect scores in the individual rounds. Daphne D., Madeline K., Juliana T., Sierra M. and Skyla M. also received medals for achieving high scores. Way to go 8th grade! Your hard work really paid off!
