When: Program begins Monday, Sept. 21st for students in Pre-K through 8th grades. The opening date is a little later than last year so that the students will be more familiar with the school’s new routines before coming for breakfast.
Time: 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. Doors by the Rec Center open at 7:00 A.M. sharp, no earlier.
Covid-19 Precautions: Parent(s) must accompany their child to the Rec Center door to be signed in. Parents and children will wear masks. Hands will be sanitized upon arrival and before going to the classrooms or outside. Children will remove their masks while eating and put them back on after eating. Social distancing will be observed while eating and playing. Toys will not be shared, and they will be sanitized each day and ready for the next day. Children will bring their own crayons and pencils. Mrs. Smith will be wearing a mask and face shield, hand sanitizing, and wearing gloves to serve the children.
Details: Pre-schoolers will be escorted to their building at 7:50 by their teacher for Tiger Time. All other students will be escorted to the front recess yard or the classroom at 8:00. There will be no Early Birds on school-ordered late arrival days.
Cost: $8.00/day for the first family member and $5.00/day for each sibling attending at the same time. Fees will be billed to you at the end of each month and payable to Saint Helena School by the listed due date.
Typical Breakfasts: Single serve cups of cereal, fruit, and mini muffins or mini donuts, water or hot chocolate in cold weather.
Registration: You must sign up for EARLY BIRDS three days before you will be using this program so that food can be ordered appropriately. If there is a sudden work meeting, you may register the day before coming. The first sign-up is due on or before September 18th .
